We'd rather fix a mistake than leave it standing. If you've found something in a guide that's inaccurate, outdated, or unclear, we want to hear about it.

How to report an issue

Use the contact form and select "Report a correction" as the topic. Please include:

• The URL or title of the guide
• The specific sentence or section in question
• Why you believe it needs a correction, and a source if you have one

What happens next

We review every correction request. If the guide needs a change, we update it and refresh its "last updated" date. If we disagree that a correction is needed, we'll try to explain why. Either way, you'll hear back.

Significant corrections

If a correction materially changes the advice in a published guide, we note that the article was substantively revised, rather than quietly editing it as though the error never existed.
