How the estimate works

Each task has a base time and a priority. Times grow with the number of bedrooms and people, and with pets or small children, because those are the factors that most change how long a reset takes. The planner fills your available minutes with the highest-priority tasks first, then assigns tasks to your chosen days so that no single day carries most of the load. The numbers are planning estimates, not measurements, so adjust the budget after your first two weeks.

For the reasoning behind a weekly reset, read A Weekly Home Reset Routine. If a week falls apart, maintaining order during busy weeks shows how to shrink the plan without dropping it.
